Babs Abraham, Atlanta-based famous chef behind one of the most popular African restaurants in Atlanta, United States, Buka Rest, is planning a mother of all burials for his beloved mother, Madam Abraham, who passed on recently.
Until her sudden passage, the late ‘Mama Buka’ was one of Buka’s greatest blessings – a fine example of everything a doting mother stands for. As a matter of fact, the story of Buka’s rise to the top would be incomplete without mention of his mother’s supportive role.
No wonder, Babs of Buka fame is planning for her burial next week, February 24th, 2022 in Lagos. In life, the deceased said to be a good woman lived a selfless life and was at peace with both friends and foes. Her life was a study in selflessness. Only a few weeks ago, Buka’s mother passed away aboard a flight from Abu Dhabi to Lagos accompanied by his son, Babs.
Famous for his special culinary talent, Babs Abraham is miles ahead of competitors in the culinary game in terms of new cuisines, entertainment and special cooking techniques. And it’s no shock that Buka Rest is the favourite African restaurant for Nigerian residents in Atlanta and beyond.
