Abuja-based Public Health Physician, Dr. Thelma Adaku Olatise isn’t your regular run-of-the-mill doctors. She’s a certified fashionista, free spirit and a woman and half. Stylish, well-mannered and confident, Thelma with her fashion statements certainly looked the part of a fashion icon.
But she isn’t all about fashion. She’s good at what she does. Little wonder, she is saddled with the responsibility of running one of Nigeria’s leading specialized kidney care hospitals in Africa, Zenith Medical and Kidney Center(ZMKC) located in the nation’s capital city, Abuja. She is currently the Director of Hospital Management at Zenith Medical and Kidney Center.
A woman of grace and poise, Dr.Thelma an alumna of University of Jos where she graduated in flying colours with a Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery in the year 2017. Described as an exceedingly brilliant woman, she also flaunts a Masters degrees in Public Health and Health Management from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom(UK).
For Dr. Thelma, April isn’t just another month in the calendar. It’s a very special month in the life of the bubbly Physician. April 26th, particularly is a blessed day. A unique day the heavens sent down an angel in human form. A few days ago, the likeable Zenith Medicals woman had reasons to celebrate. It was another World Thelma’s day and expectedly it was another moment of thanksgiving and merriment.
Though it was a low-key celebration – a private family affair apparently because of the coronavirus outbreak currently ravaging the world. The birthday girl was, however, treated to a mini birthday bash by her colleagues at Zenith Medicals.
